What does your Lingerie say about you?

February  – a time for couples to celebrate their love and express their feelings for one another in many creative ways. Some choose to show their affections with chocolates, cards, and other sweet sentiments, while others may choose a more intimate approach.

As women – we all dress ourselves to reflect our personalities, fashion, shape, and beauty everyday; whether we do so consciously or not. Our taste for things are found in our accessories choices, attire, and even lingerie!

Here are some hints about your personality that your lingerie says about you:

Red: The colour of cupid. If you have red lingerie in your closet – it could mean that you’re not only a romantic, but someone expresses their love and passion freely. You value your relationships highly. You’re also a woman of personal power.
Black: A shade of drama and flair. Women that wear black lingerie are said to have a certain allure - a woman of mystery. She is someone that appreciates things that are classic – but looks for spontaneity. She’s decisive and bold.
Pink: Flirtatious and youthful. If you have pink undergarments you are probably someone that has a youthful spirit and is full of energy. You have that certain
"je ne sais quoi" that keeps the men guessing. Your playful by nature and love expressing who you are.

White:
Innocent and pure of heart. You’re a lovable trustworthy woman that believes her man is worthy of her. Simple and chic, white is a timeless classic that never goes out of style.

Which one are you?

{ Attention! }

Not unlike many women out there, I have a serious desire for gorgeous footwear. Every time I pop into a shoe store, my eyes always bestow themselves on a new pair of beauties I'd love to snag and bring home with me.

While looking online at netaporter.com - I found these gorgeous beauties by Reed Krafkoff! Not only great for the cooler weather, these look cozy for your feet and will be sure to make you look stunning anytime of day.

I literally gasped when seeing them.

Didn't you?

Printed skirts for summer!

This spring/summer printed skirts are the “must have” for your wardrobe.
There were all over the runways! The skirts come in a variety of different colours, shapes, and graphic prints to satisfy all the various personality types.

The thing I love most? They are perfect for any age, and can be both dressed down or be made to look more evening or professional. Want the skirts to look more age appropriate? Add a beautiful blouse to the mix and/or a sleek blazer.

I recommend wearing them with pumps (as it will lengthen the leg), but if you’re needing comfort, some great wedges, or even flats
will certainly do the trick!

Antique Gems

Having a serious love for statement jewelry always leads to constant browsing both online and in fabulous boutiques. The thing I love about these type of accessories is the inspiration from the designer can be drawn from almost anywhere. Having said that, statement pieces can be something that are either light on your wallet - or a serious investment.

I fell in love when stumbling upon these amazing antique earrings from Oscar De La Renta - a designer known for exquisite taste and elegance. Once again, my love for vintage took over.

While I'm not always a fan of statement earrings - these are seriously drool worthy. So versatile, that you can pair them with a simple t-shirt, and blazer or something more sophisticated such as an evening dress.

What do you think?

Fashion for any budget!

So many magazines out there push women towards designer purchases. For many, this will not only break the bank but could leave them feeling frustrated and out of style. I’m here to tell you that any woman on any budget can easily be fashionable and chic!

Here are a few tips for how to stay in style, all while keeping money in your wallet!
1) Hunt vintage. Vintage and thrift stores have hidden gems that are typically gentler on the budget. Take an afternoon with some girlfriends and play with the clothing and accessories from decades past. There are hundreds of beautiful items that are just waiting to go in your closet!

2) Skip the expensive trends. Items that are trendy are not worth the splurge if you’re on a budget. Buy less expensive versions of trends in stores such as H&M and forever 21. When the piece is no longer in style in 6 months you’ll be happy you didn’t break the bank for it.

3) Accessorize. Jewelry, scarves, hats, and any other accessories completely change the look and mood of an outfit — without having to spend a lot. Get a variety to suit your many different lifestyle requirements and add in more classic pieces. You’ll be surprised at how many outfits you can create!

4) Black is not all that. I’m here to set the record straight: Black does NOT make everyone look good, even if it’s considered a classic shade. I do recommend splurging on more classic items that will last in your closet, but don’t forget to add some color to give your clothing an extra “pop.”

Follow these tips to get the ‘best bang for your buck’, all while being chic, stylish, and confident!
